So i've got it enabled in both shadow play and pubg and it only asked me if I wanted to use it in my first lobby and never again. It recorded my first kill and I also got two crossbow kills just before my death.

None of it was actually recorded, it saved a second and a half about a minute after the first kill and then a fraction of a second a minute before my crossbow kills and death. That's it. I tried again and it said it was recording them but nothing was there.

Anyone else able to get it working "properly"? Or is it just a hyped up piece of trash? Showing 1 - 15 of 27 comments. I'm not even able to enable it in PUBG menu. It's grayed out. So still doing it the old way. Duffvader View Profile View Posts. It's working for me. I have a few 40 sec.

How to Enable NVIDIA ShadowPlay Highlights in PUBG

Last edited by Duffvader ; 24 Aug, am. Works fine for me. You just need to leave it a while bnefore you exit in order to get them to save. Make sure you have it saved, and check your folders. I got it to work my last game, it got my first down, my death, and none of the kills in between Yeah i'm going to go ahead and say it's trash.

I'll do the same and just alt 10 my kills. Originally posted by Henry :. Ducktales View Profile View Posts.

Thread starter d8veh Start date Dec 7, Shadowplay has changed to Instant Replay under the share settings. It used to work OK when they first changed it, but now it doesn't work with ED. It records the sound OK, but the video is just a stationary starry sky. It records the last 5 minutes. The sound is perfect, but it's like it's grabbed the video from the wrong source.

As I said, it just shows a nice starry sky, while you can hear the battle going on - as if the camera is pointing in the wrong direction. I think FD only added that recently. Is the problem something to do with that?

Can someone please confirm whether it works on their machine? I asked before, but nobody actually confirmed that it still works. Von Shadow. You can change the hot-key combos If you installed the latest update 3. The new "Share" feature they unveiled is literal crap and works on pretty much 1 of every 20 or 30 computers. Roll it back or use OBS. Trust me Last edited: Dec 7, It just records a photo.

I didn't find any way to reassign the keys.Instant Replay lets users capture some of their greatest gaming moments by constantly recording up to the last 20 minutes of their on-screen time. This helps a lot in conserving storage space.

If you want to save the footage that you recorded using Instant Replay, just open up the GeForce Experience Share overlay and head over to the Instant Replay section. You can also choose to upload the Instant Replay footage directly to YouTube and Facebook, without even having to save it. Now, how easier can that be?

ReLive - Inconsistent Instant Replay Function

Without doubt, Instant Replay is possibly the easiest way to record all your most crucial moments in gaming. So, we have no gripe on that regard. Well, what do you guys think about the Instant Replay feature? Are you ready to try it out? Do let us know by shooting your valuable opinions in the comments section down below. So whenever I save an instant replay, it only saves whatever window is being used at the time. For example, I want to save the last 5 minutes of something that was on my computer, but I had just opened up a game.

It will save the last 3 seconds of that game instead of saving the whole 5 minutes of everything that happened into one video. Or does that actually start the instant replay? At the end of the 5 mins if you have not saved it will auto delete that replay recording so as to not clog your system with numerous 5 min clips then start another 5 min recording. It will continually loop like this for as long as it is turned on.

If you have saved at say 2 mins then it stops that 5 min period of replay recording and starts another 5 mins. So the answer is, yes this is a Replay feature but one that is continually looping in 5 minute sessions.

Again nothing you record will be saved unless you do so. I hope this is clearer for you. Have fun. LOG IN. Recover your password. Cancel reply. Partner Content. Related Articles. OBS Open Broadcaster I have reviewed a fair number of laptops over the last few years and most of these have been gaming laptops that come with powerful hardware in really big, bulky packages with massive charging bricks [There are numbers of screen recording software tools in the market and each one of them offers unique features for gameplay.

But it is quite difficult for gamers to choose the best one for their needs.

It is better to check reviews first so that you can pick the best one. If you are also searching for the most suitable gamplay recording software then the article below will be useful for you.

Here we are going to compare two most competitive platforms for gameplay recording: The Shadowplay and OBS. Keep reading to avail deep details. OBS: stands for Open Broadcaster Software tool that is available as open source and can be accessed for free from any corner of world. This tool is designed to serve users with advanced video recording abilities and it can also work for live streaming.

Users can save the last 30 minute session by simply hitting the hotkey. Also, it allows direct media sharing to popular social media sites like Facebook, YouTube etc.

This easy to use game recording software can capture game videos with 4K content quality and offers 60 fps rating for frames. This tool is hardware accelerated hence it runs automatically on the background as soon as you start playing any game on device.

The best thing to know about ShadowPlay is that it does not affect system performance. Both these tools have their own advantages and disadvantages so it will be little difficult for beginners to choose best platform for their needs.

How to setup Nvidia Shadowplay (for instant replays)

To ease your selection process, we have gathered few top difference points that highlight performance ability of OBS and ShadowPlay:. ShadowPlay does not affect CPU performance even while extending its support to higher framerates. The great thing to know about OBS is that if you compress videos using this tool then there is no need to recompress them again while uploading on YouTube.

The format stays in desired size and can be processed smoothly. But, ShadowPlay does limited compression hence file size stays larger and you need higher bandwidth rating to finish uploads. ShadowPlay demands enough space in hard drive and allows users to recompress or re-encode their recorded files as per need. The recorded collections can also be directly uploaded to YouTube where they will get automatically compressed, but those who usually work on smaller bandwidth rating are advised to re-encode prior to uploading.

OBS is also good in this task as it compresses files automatically to assist in fast processing. The best idea is to use OBS for long sessions and terrible bandwidth ranges; whereas ShadowPlay is nice choice if you have great bandwidth. There is no doubt to say that OBS recorded videos take lesser space in your memory due to compressed format whereas ShadowPlay needs more space in your Hard Drive.

Those who are curious to enjoy professional style editing must go for OBS platform because it allows them to access plugins, multiple scenes, collection of music tickers and alerts or notifications regarding all settings. On the other side, ShadowPlay can just offer you simple service for recording your gaming hour without additional interactive controls. It is not possible to enjoy Twitch streaming and Shadow Recording at the same time on ShadowPlay so most of the gamers love to use OBS to stream their content with ease.

How to Set Up Instant Replay on NVIDIA GeForce Experience

ShadowPlay is good for broadcasting needs but OBS offers great overlay adjustments. No matter which game your want to record on your PC, you will find extensive customization options on OBS platform but they are limited in case if ShadowPlay. Both these software tools are available for free and work for game recording needs but your selection completely depends upon your connection type and CPU power.

As already mentioned that OBS can perform better even for low bandwidth connections too because it saved videos in compressed formats that can be easily transferred to internet or on other viewing platforms.

But in case if you already have a good quality connection offering high bandwidth rating then it is advised to work with ShadowPlay because it can upload content even without much compression so that video quality stays optimized to crystal clear appearance. Also, having high performance CPU is an advantage for game players because it allows recorder softwares to work without any interruption and loading issues. The action games always need latest and high performance CPUs because they need fast processing for graphics. What could be the issue?

On Geforce Experience the Mic is always on. I can't figure it out and looking on Google gave me no solution. I know it was working less than a week ago but it just stopped. Any ideas how to fix this guys would be appreciated it. I think the problem is not PUBG, but your settings in the geforce experience menu. I suppose you would need to try testing the mic in the settings and try to put everything to volume.

Hi guys, I'm afraid that can't be the case. It's only on PUBG? Ok thanks for checking, that will help a little bit, So onto the next part Right click the little audio icon on the far right end of your task bar. Now you will see this, on here find which one is your microphone, you can "configure" and do a speech test through settings to confirm. Once you know which one is your Mic, Make sure to right click and tick "Default Device" if it is not already the Default Device, Then on any of the white part right click.

From here right click all the things that appear and click "Disable" only leaving your mic as the only one turned on. After that boot up your game, Turn off Shadowplay highlights. Start the game again, Turn Shadow play highlights on, Apply, Run through a game and make it so it triggers and make sure you yap away while doing so and see if that fixes your issue Regards - NolifeDemon. Ok so it sounds like you have disable your mic, What you need to do is go back in and 1 by 1, Re-Enable 1, See if its working ingame, if not exit, Disable it, re-enable another 1, Until it comes back, once it does, Set that one as your default and disable the other active one, Run a game see if its all working.

If nothing changes just go through and Re-Enable them all and see how it fares will none of them Disable. Glad you got it sorted mate! I didn't even think it might be under a different option until you said you lost everything! Glad its resolved though! Regards - NolifeDemon. Recommended Posts. Yea it isn't working for me either After the last update a few days ago, that's when it stopped working. I know is not Shadowplay because is working fine on other games, its just Siege after the update.

Sure it might work with Screen Capture setting ON but it used to work normal just fine. Last edited by Onion ; 28 Jul, am. Its probably due to the implementation of that Battleye crap. Rejects all.
